Either it's a gradual execution or a strategy to as you say, grab attention.Juggling Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10508204489483085428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3171000200194253853.post-41745709353954459072008-04-22T16:06:00.000-04:002008-04-22T16:06:00.000-04:00I first saw it in person on a coffee sleeve on my ...I first saw it in person on a coffee sleeve on my co-workers desk. It certainly grabs your attention. I think it makes sense for a temporary switch but long-term is a bad idea.David Wenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17142892432178270834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3171000200194253853.post-33956865761452879792008-04-09T09:38:00.000-04:002008-04-09T09:38:00.000-04:00I don't have training in design, so I'm approachin...I don't have training in design, so I'm approaching this as a consumer. I like the new logo because it feels less corporate, more crafted. I'm tired of the perfection presented by the brand bullies. This could dupe me into thinking of Starbucks as more human.Shaylahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06235571582758248746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3171000200194253853.post-7033125536420941562008-04-09T09:14:00.000-04:002008-04-09T09:14:00.000-04:00I prefer the old logo myself, it is more recogniza...I prefer the old logo myself, it is more recognizable. Not to mention the simplicity of the design allows for better scalability. The new logo is needlessly complex in its detail.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3171000200194253853.post-65634047767122843322008-04-09T07:42:00.000-04:002008-04-09T07:42:00.000-04:00Thank you for commenting J Patrick. Publicity stunt or genuine attempt at communicating a change in philosophy? Time will tell I suppose.Juggling Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10508204489483085428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3171000200194253853.post-67190206155333008472008-04-09T07:28:00.000-04:002008-04-09T07:28:00.000-04:00Are they really going to show her nipples? I saw the same thing at my local Publix grocery store and the sign above the milk said, "Fresh Milk." Should their be any other kind?

I think logos should be on the simple side so no, I don't like the new version for a lot of reasons.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
