Songs From A Hat

Though the subject of this post isn't about design per say, it is a great example of how the internet can be used as a powerful marketing tool.

The charismatic comedian and Musican Abby Simmons has been dedicated to a very appealing YouTube project for several months now. Each sunday she posts a video of a song she has written during the week. The catch is that YouTube viewers choose the titles of the songs prior to it being written. She now has over 4000 subscribers and averages as many comments for each video she posts. The songs range from zany absurdities to tender, endearing numbers.
