The value of side projects

Working on hobby projects can be a very refreshing experience for the creative mind. Got some project that that doesn't inspire you much? Feeling blah about being creative? Then work on something that sparks your creative battery! Do something that fires you up no matter what. Chances are, you'll find that when you do go back to your "boring" project that ideas will ricochet all over the place and you'll produce much better quality work.
